The word "sentigent" comes from an amalgamation of the words "Sentient" and "Intelligence". Sentient, comes from the Latin "sentire", which means to perceive, or feel. The word intelligent has as part of its definition, the ability of a "high or satisfactory degree of mental capacity, or revealing or reflecting good judgment or sound thought."
